How To Get Your Event Promoted


  • Go to the ICF UAE Chapter dedicated ICW page to see how your event will be presented.
  • Send your event details into, ensure you complete the 7 Point Checklist below.
    • 7 Point Event Submission Check List:
      1. Event date and time
      2. Event name
      3. Event registration link (URL)
      4. Your name as the ICF Member Host
      5. Your professional photograph as a jpg file
      6. Event description (50 words maximum)
      7. Your official website or social media link (URL) so that audiences can find out more
  • You will receive a report template from Mayssaa Khalil, Director of Events, to complete and send back immediately after your event.
  • Your event will be posted to the ICF UAE Chapter dedicated ICW page as well as the online Events Calendar
  • We will be promoting ICW on all our official ICF UAE Chapter social channels – Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter – so send us your event early for the greatest visibility.
  • Host your event, remember to take photos or screenshots, if possible!
  • Send your report by 12 May 2020 and get your testimonial featured in our ICW Event Round-Up Report.

What is the International Coaching Week (ICW)?

  • ICW is an annual weeklong global celebration of the coaching profession.
  • During this week, coaches around the world offer a variety of activities and pro bono services in their local communities to share coaching’s impact.
  • From educational sessions, to coaching demonstrations to panel discussions, ICW offers something for everyone.
  • ICW educates the public about the value of working with a professional coach and acknowledges the results and progress made through the coaching process.
  • Coaches around the world are encouraged to participate by holding special events that are promoted locally.


I am a an ICF Credentialed Coach and would like to participate in ICW, what can I do?

  • This will depend on your availability, resources and capacity to organize and deliver coaching events.
  • It will be completely up to you to decide on the type of activity, venue and audience that you wish to involve.


I am an ICF Member and I run a private company. Can I organize events to attract people from the community, who can potential join programs that are commercially delivered by my company?

  • The ICW is an excellent platform to promote coaching in the community.
  • It is also an excellent platform to showcase the role your company plays in promoting coaching through the educational and training programs you run.
