Job Roles and Responsibilities

Director of Finance and Administration

Job Scope: Performs all the Chapter’s financial transactions and keep accurate records of the organization’s accounts.

Core Responsibilities

  • Submit financial reports at each board meeting for review and approval.
  • Ensure that all expenditure is properly documented, accounted for and that budgets are prepared and agreed in advance of any expenditure.
  • Submit an annual Chapter financial report to the ICF within thirty (30) days of the Chapter’s designated end of the fiscal year. In addition, they will give a financial report no less than once every six (6) months.
  • Maintain official minutes, organize meetings and records of the proceedings of the Board and the Organization.
  • Manage the annual renewal procedure for licensing, according to Dubai Chamber and DAC requirements.
  • Develop and maintain adequate knowledge management and record systems to include meeting agendas, minutes, policies, procedures, Board decisions, guidelines, Financial Reports and other proceedings of the Board and organization membership.

 

 

Director of Knowledge

Job scope:  Provide continuous opportunities to develop members coaching knowledge and skills

Core Responsibilities

  • Holding webinars to grow members knowledge
  • Ensure inviting different speakers to hold webinars that addressed topics or pain area mentioned by our members in the annual survey
  • Coordinating all logistics related to the webinar
  • Ensure members are sent a CCEU after the webinar
  • Prepare the chapter annual report and submit to ICF global
  • Coordinate to collect all information for the annual report from the board
  • Use all feedback and evaluation done after the chapter monthly or annual events to drive the agenda of the webinar to meet members learning needs
  • Ensure having an updated list of all trainers or speakers and topics to help diversify the topics
  • Leading the international coaching week team of Board Members and committee
  • Reporting number of events and activities done during the international coaching week.

 

Director of Communications

Job scope:  To build strong media presence for ICF UAE Chapter

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintaining consistent communications to reach out to the members and non-membership within UAE
  • Lead all communications campaigns including but not limited to renewals, events notices and regular notifications or circulars.
  • Creating a strategy to increase chapter presence on the different media channels.
  • Mange all communication on all media channels
  • Identifying chapter PR opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure that communication campaigns are in line with the chapter marketing strategies.
  • Measure the impact on membership growth or membership awareness.

 

Director of Events

Job scope:  Coordinate events and calendar of events

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the task force leader for the annual main members /nonmembers events. That includes ensuring volunteers are available for the registrations.
  • Coordinate with the board directors on the agenda and theme
  • Ensure an event debrief is completed and submitted to Director of communication and marketing one month prior to holding the event to ensure enough time allocated to promote the event.
  • Support in all membership/nonmembers development or networking events
  • Coordinate with the President and VP in relation to the budgets allocated for the event
  • Create a list of prospect speakers, topics, themes for the events to help define road map for all events. Ensuring all align with the members needs and wants as per the annual membership survey.
  • Report to board directors on attendance
  • Conduct a survey after each even to measure satisfaction.
  • Ensure speakers sign the standard speaker agreements and sharing with the board if there is any conflict of interest.
  • Ensure soliciting board directors lesson learned after the event and ensure taking the feedback into consideration in the upcoming new events.

 

Director of Marketing

Job scope:  Create and manage the Chapter marketing strategy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure all marketing initiatives align with the ICF global image and brand
  • Support all board directors in promoting the events and the projects.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining a well-run infrastructure that includes the website, email hosting and social media platforms
  • Creating a standard to ensure all board directors provide information needed to promote any event /initiatives beforehand and in the right context.
  • Edit, amend and approve all blog contents
  • Prepare presentation for major events to ensure maintaining professional image and brand
  • Edit and approve all marketing tools/materials used
  • Assist the Director of Communications with the presence on, and delivery to, social media platforms.

 

Director of Sponsorships and Partnerships

Job scope:  Increase and manage all sponsorships and partnerships within the UAE

Core Responsibilities

  • Building relationship with all prospect partners or sponsors
  • Ensure the agreements are modified and customized as per the needs of the sponsor
  • Ensure all board directors are aware of all signed partnership and sponsorships.
  • Ensure the board approves all sponsorships and partnerships
  • Developing the standards and process to ensure value and sustainability
  • Continuously identify and activate partner or sponsor relationships to support the growth of the ICF brand, ICF UAE community, and ICF members experience and generate ongoing funds.
  • Measuring the impact of all sponsorships and partnership

 

 

 Abu Dhabi Subchapter Leader

Scope: Ensure ICF global vision and direction is incorporated within all Abu Dhabi Chapter strategic direction and initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Represent ICF on all aspects within the Abu Dhabi Subchapter
  • Coordinate Director of Finance in relation to Abu Dhabi expenses and budget
  • Ensure alignment between the UAE Chartered Chapter and Subchapter strategic vision and direction.
  • Oversee the execution of all projects and initiatives.
  • Promoting the ICF within Abu Dhabi to increase impact, awareness, membership and engagement.
  • Ensure global ICF initiatives applied in the Chapter are also applied in the Subchapter in coordination with the Director leading the initiatives.
  • Recommend all other support required for Abu Dhabi Members and community.
